The all-around tech guy.

Ok, so I thought I would try a simple blog from remote using the iPhone.
So far, so good.
So, I have had quite a few people tell me that some of the stuff in the Sobe drinks can cause strokes. I am not to sure how true this is, but I have an interesting story about something that happened to me.
Over the weekend, I decided to go to Quiznos to pick up a sandwich. While they were creating my toasted masterpiece, I was taking a look at the many drinks available. Quiznos is known to have Sobe drinks, as well as other Pepsi products.
In the past I have often had the Sobe Lizzard Fuel, because I seem to have a strange strawberry-banana fetish. This time I decided to try the Sobe Nirvana which has a mango-melon medley that is paired with the blend of Hibiscus, Chamomile and Ginseng.
Later that evening, I noticed I was having a light pain at the back of my neck. Throughout the night, the pain increased a bit. By the time I was ready to go to sleep the pain had spread to my chest area. The feeling I had was as if someone had taken a large mallet, and continually hit me in the chest. Needless to say, I had a hard time sleeping that night, and it continued throughout the next 2 days. Even coughing or laughing was extremely painful.
Now you are probably asking if I went to the ER or something. The answer is no, because I just figured I was having an allergic reaction to something, and the Sobe is the only thing out of the ordinary that I had to drink the entire weekend.
Even as I type this, I still feel a little bit of the pain, but it s going away, so who knows. If it does happen again, I do plan to go to the doctor so they can test me to see what the issue is.
